Back to weapons Stygian Blade
Balanced melee weapon with simple attack, special, and dash-strike routes.
Aspects
Aspect of Zagreus
Bonus attack and move speed.
Lv. 1-5: Attack speed & move speed +3% / +6% / +9% / +12% / +15%
The default blade form keeps Stygius simple and fluid. It does not change the move set, so its value comes from smoother dash-strike loops and safer repositioning.
Good for learning sword timing; pair it with strong attack boons such as Aphrodite, Artemis, or Athena.
Aspect of Nemesis
After Special, attacks can critically strike.
Lv. 1-5: Critical chance +15% / +19% / +22% / +26% / +30% for 3 sec after Special
This form turns the Special into a setup button. Use Special to trigger the crit window, then dash-strike through enemies while the bonus is active.
Artemis attack stacks naturally with the crit plan; Athena dash keeps the melee pattern safer.
Aspect of Poseidon
Special dislodges cast stones and cast damage is increased.
Lv. 1-5: Cast damage +10% / +20% / +30% / +40% / +50%
Poseidon Sword is a cast weapon in disguise. Fire casts into a target, use Special to pop them out, then repeat for frequent burst damage.
Look for Artemis, Aphrodite, or Poseidon cast routes; extra Bloodstones are very valuable.
Aspect of Arthur
New heavy move set, extra health, and a defensive aura.
Lv. 1-5: +50 Life; aura damage reduction +20% / +25% / +30% / +35% / +40%
Arthur is slower but hits extremely hard. Its Special creates Hallowed Ground, reducing incoming pressure and slowing projectiles inside the aura.
Percentage attack boons shine here; avoid playing it like the fast sword forms.
Build Plan
Use dash-strikes to stay active and pick boons that raise attack uptime.
